S’mores Day ~ August 10

S’mores Day is the perfect excuse to enjoy a range of S’mores and Marshmallow-based activities whilst earning a unique badge. Inspired by the classic campfire treat of toasted marshmallows, melted chocolate, and biscuits, the S’mores Challenge Badge provides a fun and engaging way to combine learning with adventure. Participants can complete a variety of cooking, craft, STEM, literacy, and teamwork activities while exploring everything connected with marshmallows and S’mores. It is the perfect badge for camp activities, themed nights, group challenges, or simply celebrating a love of sweet campfire treats.  

Badge Details

The S’mores Challenge badge can be added to camp blankets, jackets, bags, or anywhere you collect your badges. Many youth groups enjoy working on the challenge together as part of a themed activity night, camp program, or special event. You can download the S’mores Challenge syllabus to guide your activities and help participants work towards earning their badge.  

Activity Resources

To make running the challenge even easier, additional printable activity resources are available. These include recipe worksheets, marshmallow word challenge, matching card games, activity mat worksheet with maze, comic/story board writing and roll a s’more dice game. All designed to complement the S’mores theme. These ready-made resources make it simple to organise a fun and engaging program for groups of different ages and abilities while adding extra fun to your S’mores celebration.
